About SGWA

Saskatchewan Ground Water Association is committed to

 

  • Professional and technical leadership in the groundwater industry in Saskatchewan;

  • Promotion of responsible development of groundwater resources;

  • Be at the forefront of groundwater education and methods of well construction and service; and

  • Foster co-operation between industry members, the public, and government in advancing common goals in the groundwater development.

Our Members

The groundwater association was established in 1965 and facilitates communication among various sectors of the  groundwater industry to come together to educate, promote and protect the water and groundwater of Saskatchewan.  Membership with the SGWA includes but not limited to: Contractors such as water well drillers, pump installers, environmental/geotechnical drillers, product suppliers, water treatment providers, hydrogeologists, engineers, and students.

The professional membership with the SGWA is a mark of distinction, that identifies member as a professional with clients and consumers. Companies looking to be a professional SGWA member are subject to the ethical and professional standard set out by the Association.
